Arm Lift Brachioplasty
Get rid of the loose and "hung" skin on your arms and boost your self-confidence!
Arm Lift surgery is a surgical procedure designed to renew and improve the shape of the upper arm. Usually the operation is done in people who have had a great weight loss, which causes “hanging” and loose skin. When fat is present, the procedure is combined with liposuction.
If necessary, we first do the liposuction and then proceed to the resection of loose skin. The incision extends from the armpit to the elbow, depending on the severity and extent of the problem. Sometimes it is necessary to extend the incision into the armpit and chest. After the removal of loose skin and fat is completed, we modify the incision in such a way as to achieve a smooth and firm upper end.
Depending on the circumstance and extent of the surgery, you may need to stay in the hospital for one night.
As with all operations, there is initially little swelling and bruising, which subsides within 2-3 weeks.
