Maternity, lactation, weight fluctuations or just … the power of gravity as age grows, causes the phenomenon of droopy breast, which gets worse over time.
This is a common problem, but it is easily and painlessly treated, in a way that has an excellent aesthetic effect.
With Mastopexy, we reshape a droopy breast to a more conical shape, removing the loose skin and repositioning the nipples to a higher level, so it has more youthful appearance. At the same time, we can reduce the size of the halo (the darker skin surrounding the nipple).
The mastopexy can be combined with augmentation of the breasts, when the size is small. The increase in size is made by using silicone implants or fat graft.
Dr. Ioannis Giannas performs the mastopexy procedure with the technique of “vertical small incision”, which has the following advantages:
- The incision on the breast is 50% shorter compared to the classic incision of the traditional technique and (and or type incision)
- gives a better shape for longer time
